Junior Accountant — Tax & Compliance

Kunz is a CPA-Affiliate based in Douala, Cameroon, currently serving as Tax and Compliance / Junior Auditor at MFCA & Associates — a member firm of MGI Worldwide. In this role, he supports clients across external audit engagements, tax compliance, financial reporting, payroll, and bookkeeping, working within the OHADA/SYSCOHADA, IFRS, and IPSAS frameworks that govern accounting practice across the region.

Kunz's professional path has given him a well-rounded grounding in the full audit and compliance cycle. Before joining MFCA, he gained hands-on experience at ACN & Co (PFK), where he further developed his skills in statutory audit and financial statement review. Across both roles, he has built a reputation for accuracy, discipline, and a strong command of the technical standards that underpin sound financial reporting.

He is proficient across a range of accounting and audit software, including SAGE, QuickBooks, Odoo, and Smart Audit, alongside advanced Excel skills that support efficient, detail-oriented analysis. This technical fluency allows him to move comfortably between manual review and systems-based audit procedures.

Kunz holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Buea. He has also served as Chief Invigilator for CPA-K examinations at Fomic Polytechnic in Douala, helping uphold the integrity of the certification process for the next generation of accounting professionals. Bilingual in English and French, Kunz is well positioned to serve clients across Cameroon's diverse business landscape.
